East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust Upgrades to SimpleCode Web
We're delighted to announce that East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust has successfully upgraded from SimpleCode 3 to SimpleCode Web, bringing the benefits of a modern, cloud-based clinical coding platform to one of the largest acute NHS trusts in England.
Serving a population of around 700,000 people across East Kent, the Trust provides services from major hospital sites including Kent and Canterbury Hospital, William Harvey Hospital and Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital.
With more than 8,000 staff delivering a wide range of acute and specialist services, ensuring high-quality clinical data is essential to supporting patient care, operational performance and strategic decision-making.
The move to SimpleCode Web provides the Trust's Clinical Coding team with a cloud-based solution that follows the four-step coding process and allows work-flow allocation and local customisation for coder notes and searches. It delivers enhanced performance, flexibility and accessibility, while supporting consistent, accurate coded data across multiple hospital sites.
